For the 2015 edition we decided to run from Ferrara to Rome (about 500 km) in only 2 days.

It rides very well! Very stiff rigid frame ... perfect for city or flat touring! The Regina Extra casette is fantastic.

Which is the spacing of the fork and the rear ?
Which is the size (diameter) of the hub axles ?

The Sprint on the grass appears to be one of the latest versions (87-88 ?), with different decals scheme (without the space shuttle), different chainset and fork.
I like very much the Road ACE, do you have some more detailed pictures of it to post ?

As the 1971 catalog say, It is "Designed for all type of general road use".
The bike appears to be in almost original state, apart from the fact that it has no Campagnolo "Gran Sport" rear derailleur but a lower level Campagnolo "Velox".
Very nice frame ! and thank you very much for your kind offer. Unfortunately I am located a little too far away from you and I have some problem to collect the frame, but I am thinking how to proceed.
Which type of callipers did you use on the set up displayed in the picture? Is the colour stil...
I'm after a complete bike or frame to build up for longer rides but also with the option to fit mudguards and a rack for light touring. Something with braze ons for the above and maybe cantos.

Here some pictures of the Cartlon Super Phyton I have recently cleaned up.
The bike was resprayed and largely updated in the early 80s, I took the decision to leave everything as it was when i bought it, apart from the change of the rear derailleur, down tube shifter and brake cable holders...
Mine wheelchair has hexagonal bolt … still looking for a replacement.
This evening looking on ebay I found 3 bolts for replacement of CHATER LEA CRANKSET BOLTS VINTAGE 30/40/50 VINTAGE LIGHTWEIGHT RACING BIKE at the unbelievable cost of 25 pounds ….:( :(
