Frame cost me much less than you think, plus August Bicycles on here have quoted me to fix it just about what I spent so it owes me very little… I have some P2’s from a Kilauea if I go the rigid route which could also look amazing on when resprayed to match the frame…

I think they are slightly different, not much but just enough, maybe ask Hope for confirmation

Ok so I have some parts sitting - after repair I need to find some 1997/8 SID’s and a worthy headset, I have Syncros Stem, seatpost and a half decent seat. Drivetrain will be 737/739 with Hope Hubs and 217 or 231’s Just need a month or 2 to save for the fram repair

It’s ok but I want to run cantis and the plug in the wishbone has rusted out so needs some repair work anyway so rather than rebuild some of the 20 or so C2’s I have I’ll stick to period brakes

Got offered a Fuquay Road / Gravel bike today - not really my thing and no idea of value. Guy is an ex bike shop employee who I picked up a couple bits from, Alu Frame and random parts, any suggestions (prob not for me to be fair)

You can swap cages (both the fixed front side and bolt on rear side) which is what I think you’re getting at. The cage should be held on by a 5 or 6mm hex key bolt and there is the sting behind it which is a bit fiddly but it can be done
