    I’ve got a 95/6 custom Fuquay that needs a touch of resto where the canti mounts have been removed and the end of the wishbone has a small rust issue. Augustbikes on here said it would be a cheap fix and it would build to a cool slice of UK bike history

    OP you need a full length axle and spacer not just the spacer, the axle was short for the brake arm set up if you just put a QR through it will snap

    If the decals and Deore DX are right it’s much earlier than a 96 more like 92 as DX was phased out in 93/4
