nice bike! DA7400 is one of the coolest looking groupsets of all time (that unmistakable late 80s/early 90s japanese sci-fi design), and still works just as good as modern groups, so i say it's a nice upgrade ;)

the green Paves aren't as classy looking as the tan Corsas, but they do have their own weird charm :mrgreen: they ride great too - super comfy as expected, though the Corsas feel slightly faster when going all out on the flats (they are 27mm vs 25mm for the Corsas) it's going to be hard...

The real shocker is that the 7410 group shifts really, really, exceptionally well! The group has virtually no wear, so the shifts are lightning quick with no delay up or down - even on the front rings. The lever throw is super short, and has a really stiff and nice feel to it - it feels totally...

Took the Daccordi out for a spin today, and my god is the 7410 group a treat. Both the front and rear shifts are super fast and buttery smooth - brakes are good and the cranks feels stiff and nice. the cinelli 65 handlebars are also pretty goddamn great in my book - way more comfortable shape...

a Ti spindle just seems like such a unecessary choice to me compared to a steel one. wont it just be softer and more mushy feeling when standing on the pedals? i'd much rather just use a hollowtech BB and a modern groupset if weight saving was the goal, which is a bad goal for an old steel...

And it all turned out great! The gearing-action feels so much better then the 600 groupset, and the whole thing just feels great. i also changed the handlebars for some cinelli 65-38 track bars, which ergonomically goes very nice with these levers.

The new 103mm bottom bracket arrived for the 7410 cranks arrived today. So out with the too wide UN70... and in with a new Token TK866CM the 7410 cranks sure are a lot better looking then the 600 ones :mrgreen:
