Ask and ye shall receive - My wife had the old Go Pro mounted that day (Got a better one, since) - A pretty rumbly video, but you can hear the bridge, if you listen closely :)

    Anodizing removal

Oven cleaner (the kind with lye in it) will take anodizing off aluminum, and if you leave it too long, it will etch it. It's also a pretty good paint and grease remover for steel, but won't affect it otherwise.

Imlach's Sweaty Hippie Funk Collection, adventure bikes, rusty rats, cruisers and other alt bastardisations of bicyclery

Why is everyone getting their shorts in a twist over this? It's just art, not meant to be taken seriously

I did the same with this one, but it was so wretched-looking sitting there, that I was really doubting my...

1992 Tantrum mountain bike help needed

Only online reference I found was a Tantrum Company, founded in 2015, to promote a new rear suspension design. The founder and designer was named Brian Berthold - Your bike looks a good deal older. I also saw that Raleigh made a women's bike called a "Tantrum" - Also obviously NOT your bike.

Can this bike be saved ?

Does the number tell me anything? I was guessing that it's a 2000, based on the paint and graphics - Components aren't much of an indicator, as they’ve been all swapped around

Can this bike be saved ?

Well, I bought the potential bike thing, and even talked down the price a bit. The frame is fine - That extra "seat post clamp" is just a plastic taillight mount. The main issue, is that the whole thing's a mishmash of bits and bobs, as you would say, so I'll need to formulate a plan. 🤔
