This might a stupid question but can the steerer be replaced with one of these on manitou 1 2 3 comp etc and done easily cheers

Really nice restored mate you definitely made the right decision redoing it I know it was probably a ball ache but the difference is night and bay by the color Match the original paint has it got a sandpaper feel to it and why can't it be replicated
