i also have 7817, which was purchased in mid 93

so i picked up a more modern merlin, from around 2003. I can't seem to find a serial number on it. Non on the bottom bracket, and none on the drop-outs. Its supposed to have been employee owned, so I suppose its possible that there is no serial.

I see three different type of merlin decals floating about: white on white decals black decals and white with black outline decals. Can someone tell me which decals are appropriate to which model years? One thing that confuses me is the 1992 model year. From here the mombat page...
