    Show me your Raleigh's

Looks like a UK spec Raleigh / Dyna-Tech Torus from 1995. The Decals are Raleigh USA for sure. Probably as you say an MRI 1000 but with UK dropouts. Here's a picture from Google

These are good value, little heavy but well made. https://www.spacycles.co.uk/m20b131s116p5179/EXAL-LX17-26-inch-%28559%29-Rim

Raleigh Dune Dancer - which year / spec?

Brochure shots of Dune dancer and Moonrun, the other bike in this range was the Yukon. All on Reynolds 501 but with different groupsets.

    Shimano Stx Rc

I agree the second hand chainset is the best option and it's an mc32 stx so all the rings are steel so will last almost forever.

    Funky Univega

Great custom paint job. Looks very similar to the Univega 7.5 I once owned, although no rear canti bridge on yours.

    Where are the rims at???

Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

I can't remember a suspension fork option for the '93 Mtrax range, but I would of thought a rockshox mag 30 as Raleigh were using these on the Summit and the Dynatech Diablo rs that year.

Wanted Black 32 Hole Matching Rims (no hubs)

I bought a pair of black rims from spa cycles recently. Made by Exal which is basically Alesa. They are the LX17 models, double wall, double eyelets and machined sidewall. Only downside is their heavy at approx 540g. But they are £16 quid new.
