Trike

I have no doubt it is. I only ever saw British trikes.

Yeah - in Scandinavia the only trikes I've seen, including old vintage ones, were for cargo duties, made of gas pipes, nothing elaborate, single speed for messing about at summer houses on the coast. Can't ever think of seeing one in France nor Spain.

Perhaps Colnago should take on the Brits in this market - that extra wheel and more frame would keep Ernesto busy and give him even more space to adorn it with gold plated tat. :p🤓

I go to the York Rally each year, and often have a try a trike session in the field . Late at night when the beer ( dutch courage) , has taken effect. I have also done it at the Tom Simpson memorial ride . Riders tend to slip out of the hall to have a go ,when their mates can't see them . Fear of failure . But you do get folks who jump on and it just clicks . I have heard our friends over the pond , call them English racing Trikes .

What is the average width across the rear wheels Colin? Or is it a set standard track?
I normally measure outside to outside of tyres . which is the overall width . 28" is a popular modern width . My green and gold trike is 30 " which is generally a tandem axel width . It is not as much fun for lifting wheels for show boating , but it is very stable on corners . I have seen 26" on older trikes . Axel width have tended to get wider , as folks have got garages or purpose built sheds , instead of keeping bikes or trikes inside the house . I remember falling over bikes kept in the hallway .
