LOL, I have a '90 Lava Dome and a '95 Kilauea, both with stuck posts. BTW, a 'cider cone' sounds refreshing on a hot day.

Thankfully my lovely 91 Lava Dome was fine, but my recently acquired 96 Bontrager had been very badly neglected and had to be dissolved

Mk one yours is alot better this is knackered falling off rust underneath on the otherside big chunk miss on top bar but looking at yours and what you said might well do it the same scootts i think the seatpost is either stuck or rammed in i havent tried yet

I got one hanging up ready for that rainy day build, along with all the other Kona projects. However I think my seatpost is stuck, haven't had a good go at it yet.

Let me know how you get on with seatpost yours looks like mine with no seatclamp i like the purple one and the green at the back my favourite for konas as well as the baby blue which i cant find

I will let you know how I get on with it.

Yes early 90's Konas are my favourite, however I also have a 97 Explosif, 98 Fire Mountain and a 2000 Humu.

Still on the look out for a 91/92 Explosif, black or Gold, my dream bike when I was a young teen.
