I did convert an old GT with one of these that I picked up cheap. It's surprisingly good, but too slow (but then I have no hills either!!) So I ended up taking it off again and it is sat in the back of the shed.

Definitely don't fit a throttle as they are illegal and are really no fun at all *cough, cough*
