I would happily fit either (or both) into my stable. 'Hoppers are the unsung hero of the Spesh lineup, have always been solid all terrain bikes. Plus, green bikes are faster

I think we all know that red is the colour of the fastest anything (maybe not in F1 though )

This is a 2015 Rockhopper compared with a 1995 model. The 95 model is actual a "Large" while the 15 is a "Medium"

I've got a 1998 Rockhopper and exactly the same 2015 model as yours. I got the 2015 to try out a 29-er and it's stayed, mainly because it's just so comfortable and I like the low gears when I'm feeling tired. Both have seen a lot of use though, not least for winter commuting duties.
