yes relative bought it in france, i put it up for that amount randomly to see what happened, contacted Jim from ‘bertin classics’ got this response:
The decals lead me to believe you have an early 1990s Bertin Record. The Columbus decal is hard to view but looks like it might be a Matrix or Aelle frameset. Unfortunately, I have no catalogue for this period and cannot provide much more detail. The bike seem setup for brifters based on the headtube cable

This is my Bertin from I believe the early to mid 90's
Apparently Shimano bought the Bertin Cycles brand in the 90's and released bikes based on Columbus Genius framesets.
I bought the frameset about 15 years ago, in virtually new condition and built it up with Campag components.
It's a great bike to ride, light, but with plenty of Va-Va-Voom
