Arrived today. Everything matches the image above, no missing parts.

First impressions:
The lamps are incredibly lightweight, no doubt due to cheap plastic construction.
The cable for the front lamp is much shorter than the rear, so to be set up with the dynamo at the front.
The dynamo feels solid and the wheel rotates freely and smoothly. The angle mechanism has a satisfying click to it.
Fittings are all nice, threads are well cut and brackets have smooth edges.

Cyrillic text on the casing confirms Russian or Soviet origins. Anyone familiar with that period will know that the soviets tended to make things cheaply, but with robustness and serviceability at the fore. Their stuff is famous for being simple to maintain and easy to repair, but equally notorious for requiring regular maintenance and repairs.
Products often suffered from inconsistent manufacturing standards, with quality of assembly and workmanship varying wildly from factory to factory.

Be interesting to see how this functions, I'll update the thread once fitted and tested.

I was looking at NOS lighting stuff on marktplaats.nl and found a lot of dynamos from the DDR. I bought one. It does look quite basic.

What did you pay for that?

Used better quality dynamo sets can be found on fleabay and elsewhere for between £30 and £60, but of course they come with wear and tear and potential damage that you won't get with NOS.

12,50 euros for a light and a dynamo. I am looking for a Busch & Müller dymotec s6. These are more recent but were very efficient. I also found a large head light for a large beam, almost 10cm diameter.

There's a NOS one for auction here .
This was the standard model, the Dymotec 6, the s6 was quite a bit more expensive. I have started looking but haven't seen one yet.
