Araya RM-395 Team rims…..

Quick question…. Can’t remember for the life of me whether the above rims had a concave profile more on the lower 1/3 of the rim to help minimise the brake pad dropping or sliding over the rim edge….
Initially I thought both rims had worn badly but the skirt like profile appears and feels the same both sides on both rims…
Am I correct in my thinking?

Yes I originally bought them new and had them laced to a set of Nuke Proof hubs….
Anyway, I sold my bike with them on to a mate years ago and he’s been in touch asking if I wanted it back (35 years later lol) so a deal was done. They have been stood a very long time but under all the grime they are still looking well tbh…
