What happened?I wouldn't buy anything off this seller after my experience. More goldenshowerofbullshit cycles than anything else.

I know that this seller usually prices things fairly sensibly is surprising to me. I know Hetchins have a strong following, but even so...
Three weeks delivery and barred me after I enquired where my parts where. Jo bought some parts which turned up with parts missing, also had to wait three weeks. This wasn't covid times either. What happened?
The estate of a VCC member was made available for sale & this chancer paid peanuts for part of a massive vintage collection & flipped everything by a factor of at least 10 through his online warehouse & fleabay....fortunately a few close friends were contacted by the family for assistance on asking prices & we were able to put a stop to the fleecing....Three weeks delivery and barred me after I enquired where my parts where. Were they given the impression they were selling them to be part of a collection, rather than for trade? The estate of a VCC member was made available for sale & this chancer paid peanuts for part of a massive vintage collection & flipped everything by a factor of at least 10 through his online warehouse & fleabay....fortunately a few close friends were contacted by the family for assistance on asking prices & we were able to put a stop to the fleecing....
Angry reaction to the fleecing, not the help offered.
No; the family member hadn't a clue as to values for anything merely seeing them as "old bikes"...e.g. £20 offered for a vintage lightweight, complete bike easily worth £300 + & there were many more examples of this...we reckoned thousands £ of bikes & components bought for a few hundred quid...until we came along...Were they given the impression they were selling them to be part of a collection, rather than for trade?
Out of order indeed. Thanks for clarifying. No; the family member hadn't a clue as to values for anything merely seeing them as "old bikes"...e.g. £20 offered for a vintage lightweight, complete bike easily worth £300 + & there were many more examples of this...we reckoned thousands £ of bikes & components bought for a few hundred quid...until we came along...
