Looks like it was buried with King Richard under the car park in Leicester, I am not tempted in the slightest, since this will probably not survive any restoration process sadly, quote 'rust is superficial ' cough

I think actually that would probably come out okay apart from some pitting in places after a shot blasting. But it does seem expensive, which considering I know that this seller usually prices things fairly sensibly is surprising to me. I know Hetchins have a strong following, but even so...

I would be reluctant to media blast something this valuable. Too much risk of perforating the tubing. Wire brush on a drill to get it smooth, some hydrate 80 follwed by some 2K epoxy primer would be the way I'd go.
