As a follow on from previous post ... tyres (Smokes for the moment) and tubes are on the wheels now and I almost have a rolling chassis!

It's been a quiet few weeks on the build front, possibly because the next task I set myself was polishing up the old DX cranks ... But Saturday I pulled my finger out. Difficult to get started, but a joy to see the results! Couple of pics below to show the before and after:

Looking really nice mate the paint on clockwork is like a pearly white I would go with yellow stem if you can get to bring color up from frame but stunning up to now

First time posting. I have this same bike. All original. Even the mega bite tires. It looks like a custom bottle cage was made to fit in the frame. It’s dirty from a mountain bike last night

Great example that one. Fantastic to have it entirely catalogue spec. Just be wary of that stem if you’re riding it with any purpose. A very high percentage failed from what I know. Might be as well to keep the original somewhere safe and stick on something more solid for the trails.

Decals came from Gil at Retrodecals. I get all my decals from him. Great quality reproductions.
