2008 Giant Halfway (folding bike)

Bloomin tyres, on motorcycles some manufactures put a dot on that you line up with the valve. Reason being is the dot is at the lightest part of the tyre and the valve is more weight so it helps with balancing. I know nothing about bicycle tyres though and not much about car tyres either other than being show them being made.

Bike is looking ace Scott, I've got the fear far too much to attempt some of those jobs... even with my blue bloomin book, I don't have much in the way of tools or space but these are just mostly excuses, mostly its the fear as I've never worked on bicycles other than mashing up as a kid. Thanks Totoro I really appreciate that, before this the most I had ever done was replace brakes shoes or replace a chain..
Dont get me wrong it was quite daunting to think about trying the required learning curve but Im glad I undertook the work myself because the bike is better for it all and I now understand a bit more about what does what and why.
