The best cycling product I have discovered for years TANNUS ARMOUR !!

I ride mostly off road across parks and use the canal towpath network in the great city of Birmingham, just one problem PUNCTURES!!! but no longer, I am now invincible because I have discovered TANNUS ARMOUR, its an insert for the tire that goes around the inner tube (you need to use a narrower inner tube than you otherwise would), it rides great and gives 15mm protection on the tread and also puncture protection for the sidewalls, and in the unlikely event you did get a puncture, you can still ride flat without damaging the rim, its just great see link here https://www.tannus.co.uk/pages/tannus-armour-installation

Not at all, I prefer the ride alot, the bumps are absorbed better and the tyres just feel more planted somehow, I strongly urge you to give them a try, I am 100 percent convinced, I can push drawing pins or nails into my tyres and they stay inflated, I actually cant imagine how you could get a puncture. I once tried solid tyres and disliked them intensely, these are just great, I have them fitted on 3 bikes and punctures are just a memory

You can use a cheaper tyre, Schwalbe Marathons etc are expensive and you bin them when they wear out, and you can still get a puncture, with these, they transfer to a new tyre, plus you can ride them flat too if you did get a puncture (never happened yet)

These look like the Mousee we used to fit in Motocross tyres 20 years ago, some people never went back to normal inner tube setups after using them. Never had any complaints although some people did still manage to get punctures and fitting them was extra hassle and rather costly. I tried them and didn't have any adverse effects but stuck with a traditional setup.

I have never tried or seen them for a bicycle before*

I am running 700x40c tyres and they are easy to fit into that width, I have another bike running 700x32c tyres and that was a bit harder to fit but in theory you only need to fit them once in the life of the tyre as a puncture is highly unlikely. In any case, they are not really much hassle especially the second time. On a 700x40c tyre, you use a 700x23c inner tube, they do work with wider tubes but that does make it more hassle. I really like the ride, I would say its better than standard setup
