2008 Giant Halfway (folding bike)

A true scot would reverse the sprockets to allow the chain to run on the unworn edge:

Using nothing more than his sporran and a large rock.
aye, so would a Yorkshire man.
I say that as a Yorkshire man. :)

I'm still working my way through an 8 speed Miche block that came on my first road bike (first as in, first I bought myself as a real growed up) and was swapped out for a shimano to get more range. oh, working through is as in using each cog for SS builds, flipping it round, etc. :)

anyways, back to the half wit.

Hey Giant, how's the owner?

@bikeworkshop, can I pick your brain please Tom?
Im searching for the MF-TZ07, getting hits but when I click on them they are offering the MF-TZ500-7 its still 14-28 and 7 speed screw on..
I already bought the Shimano CN-UG51 chain a few days ago, Im assuming as they both Hyperglides the chain would fit the TZ500?

Thanks as always for keeping me right

Oooooft right in the wits 🫣 🤣
I cant reverse this as it apparently they are all riveted apart from the lock ring, plus 10 thumbs here would probably screw it up 🥺

chains a chain, 7 through 9 are the same width (ok a bit more to it than that, but it's close enough).

tz07 is all cogs on carrier, tz5007 is largest cog riveted to the next one down to save some weight (think maybe that one's riveted down too). can't remember overly well because freehubs are the work of the devil and should be burned at the hub*. I also might have this the wrong way round.

think the latter is the modern day equivalent.

* yes I have one on my folder. :)
