2008 Giant Halfway (folding bike)

As much as I really want to make this bike stand out because its already so unusual, that would be extremely counterproductive in this city as the usual suspect are always on the lookout for bikes like that so Im looking at subtle changes that make people wonder should it be like that?
Case in point Bobs suggestion of deleting the emblem and leaving the recess in its place

or paint the recess, let dry then use 3000 grit to remove the paint from the surrounding area and polish the original paint back to normal.

not Suntour cranks, SR Suntour. they aren't crap manufacturers as such, they have a lot of reasonably nice mid range stuff (I like their top end forks). They do alot of OEM and low end stuff too though, like the XCM, XCT forks and those cranks you have there. It's dependable and OK, it isn't going to bend in half when you look at it, but it isn't great either. Case in point is the riveted chain ring.
Thanks for that info Dave, I just saw Suntour and never noticed anything else 🙄
Thanks to Tom they are definitely not going back on.
Im hesitant to paint the recess as the frame is anodised aluminium and Im worried about damaging it.
IF he keeps this up it's going to be to nice and he won't ride it. :)
Oh Im gonna ride this bike thats for sure and Im going to enjoy every pedal stroke I make and every weird look it gets too 😂😂😂

Still debating on whether to keep the Schwalbe Marathons that are 1.5 wide of go for the Schwalbe Big Apples 2.0 wide that I put on the Dahon.
The only reason they are still on is I know they're not the oem tyres and the look in decent condition

I'm thinking Tartan Guards.
You could get vinyl wrap and get it on there tidy.
Perhaps Campbell or Mcdonald?🤔
Ahhh now I know your game Tom, get me murdered saving the halfwit
(and before anyone else says it yes he is sacrificing one halfwit to save another 🖕 😂😂)

Then you can contact chelle and get the bike cheap 🤔 🤔 🤣 🤣 🤣
That being said it is a pretty cool idea

Soon as you are murdered by sectarian tribalists @Scott-S I'll be straight round:

"He always said I could have it if anything happened to him, here's a fiver towards some flowers, or thistles for on the coffin.
What a shame, eh, couldve happened to anybody.
Wrong shade of Plaid."

If I'm lucky, I'm there before @Guinessisgoodforyou has managed to remove his trouserclips.
And the rest of them.

I was a member of the VCC
- I've seen it done.
Many times.

Don't suspect that it won't all be a ruse to get you north of the border @bikeworkshop. Once there you'll be trapped in a sporran by an anger weeeegie waving a spurtle in your face.

I've seen it happen, it's not pretty, especially if he hasn't washed his spurtle.

My apologies @grantoury -
I've removed frivolous nonsense.

I still think tartan wrap mudguards would be fantastic, and between us we couldn't resist a little surreal humour at the expense of vernacular historical rivalries🤔
