I think it's more arm chair than saddle!!! Also the bike has lost it's original wheels and I'm guessing you all know that that lovely stem isn't original either!

Yes you're right. I didn't look at it properly. It looked like the front hub was a later fat bodied Shimano hub (parallax). The original QR has been lost or at least the nut as it's plastic coated steel job. I can also now see the yellow Specialized logo sticker and the blue BX23? sticker!
The only reason I really paid attention is I've become a bit obsessed with Specialized rims in my current Stumpy build and noticed they were the lesser seen GX23 (grey) as opposed to the BX23 (black)!Yes you're right.
