Time for a Bike Audit

A few years ago my wife and daughters were away at a hen do so I had a couple of clear days not only for a decent curry but also a bike audit. I got them all out on the lawn in a nice display, spent an afternoon admiring them in the sun and took photos of the lot. I put them away again and was very pleased with my weekend.

Fast forward to our iCloud Photos synchronising when my wife got home……..”where are all those bikes from in these photos on our grass?” Um.

OK compared to some of you lot I'm not too bad. Unfortunately I have quite a few motorbikes in various states of wellbeing too. And they take up a fair bit of space. As for bikes...

Raleigh Triathlon
Record Sprint
Raleigh Equipe
Raleigh Pulsar single/fixie
Aluminium mountain bike that I still don't know the brand of.
85 Peugeot Paris express single.
townsend shaniko single (no idea what year)
Claud Butler Ravana (partner uses this on, that poor bike).
Some aluminium oversize tubing racer with no branding.
A fixie frame that's too big for me.
A folding shopping bike I inherited (not a Twenty, unfortunately)

Oh and I accidentally bought a Charge Plug Prestige frame late night ebaying the other day for forty quid. I have no f**king clue what I'm going to do with it.

I'd have never put you down as owing a Kirk Precision
I purchased it along while back from Nigel Scott at campy oldie . It was new old stock , and came with full chrome tange forks . It sat on top of a wardrobe for a good number of years before I built it up.

I have always been interested in unusual frame designs and the Kirk fitted right in, along side my Paris Galiber .

I would like another Saxon twin tube to replace the one I sold, which far to small for me .
Short wheel Base bikes have a built to go fast look about them.. I should add it never made any difference for me .
