Best V Brake Pads?

I’m wondering what peoples go-tos are when choosing v brake pads. I’ve personally only tried Clarks branded ones and just cheap ebay unbranded ones. The Clarks ones do seem to be better quality but create the same amount of dust.

Kool-stop comes to mind, but they seem to be ridiculously expensive compared to the competition. There is one seller on eBay right now offering some for a decent price but they are just inserts and require a carrier which I do not have.

They are also only available as inserts from what I can see. Any good pad carrier you can recommend or does it not really matter.
