I have ordered a set of organic SRAM pads with the screws, the ones I have are metal so I can compare the two.
I think that was the best option.
Your last post was correct. The standard pin fits in the screw hole and through the pad tabs but wouldn’t go into the blind hole, so the threads will not go in far enough to engage.
Yes, the circlip engages on an indent on the pin just after the threads. It’s all obvious when you have the bits in your hands. So long since I’ve done it as pads last forever, needed to take it apart to remember. On the plus side you’ve enough spare pads to outlast the frame now.
