I never recall seeing any Kona’s in Cycleworks, at least pre-1992. Riverside Cycles stocked Kona back then. But maybe Cycleworks stocked Kona from 1992 onwards. @retrobikeguy maybe you have a better memory?!
From what I remember cycleworks didn't do Kona, as JCS said, riverside cycles did them, probably bike shak on walmgate prior to that, maybe just a sticker from a service.

I definitely bought it from York Cycleworks in September 1992 with cash when I was 19. I still have the bike setup report and receipt. They had an aluminium silver grip shift Orange in at the same time.
