Been really getting back into ocd car cleaning mode with this thing too, and one job I wanted to do was to properly wash and re-proof the soft-top which I did yesterday afternoon while it was overcast.
This morning I looked out the window to see that it was raining, so shot outside so see if the Autoglym had done it’s job… I’d call that a success!

Nice. A good wet coat on a mohair roof is a think of joy.

I'm trying not to modify.
But I'm failing in many little and free ways thanks to a bizarre set of skills and range of tools to play with including a 3d printer and a sewing machine.

Love a ragtop. Had a couple of Boxsters in my 30’s (986s and 987s) plus an Elise (111s) which strictly speaking was a targa. Rocking a pano roof now as a compromise but there’s nothing better than having the lid off in all weathers and just enjoying the experience!

Yeah, totally agree in my one week of ownership!

Haven’t driven it with the roof up yet, the Mrs thinks the novelty will wear off soon but I’m not so sure, very much enjoying the experience!

I've had the Micra 5 months. the roof has been down more than up. the novelty doesn't wear off.
PO apprantly never put the roof down, whats the point if you can't get your top off.

My Dad, Sis and I met up in Inverness the other day to get a car for my niece who has just passed her test, then went off for something to eat.

On return to the car park I took a pic of our cars parked side by side.

Something about the pic with the big ‘1’ painted on the wall conjured up memories of my favourite programme as a kid… and 5 minutes in photoshop later…
