Holy Grail Muddy Fox Prestige

Not recently, but v true....I suppose they have more nostalgia value for people as so many were sold and good ones are few, like MK1 Ford Escorts.
It's a fillet brazed 1980s mtb with all original high-ish end parts in excellent condition, if it had Roberts or Ritchie decals the starting price would have been £1k+, of course that's not an entirely fair comparison but you know what I mean, its unicorn status is almost a negative in some ways.

Hopefully someone on here!

It would be amazing to see it polished up and some good photos. It looks like it will come up really nice.

the frame looks pretty scratched up, but hopefully its not too bad.

and fingers crossed the seller doesn't dick around.

Can't wait to see it, I think you have got a cracker for the money there.

Thanks....fingers crossed.

if I do actually end up with it in hand I'll definitely need that '88 Muddy Fox brouchure with it on the cover.

He's probably getting messages right now with higher offers like before!

I'm not so sure, I don't think he's done himself any favours with the pics he used, you can tell that the bike looks worse than it is because of the pics, the lighting, the fact that it's hanging up like laundry against hardboard panels.

That tells me that he can't be arsed, so why dick about again, I reckon he just wants it gone.

I don't think it'll take much to get it looking nice, a proper wash and some snaps in front of some hills would add a couple of hundred to the value ffs.
