Polishing up a neglected previously polished alloy frame for lazy people

What is the quickest and least labour intensive way of polishing up alloy frame?

I have this heckler (sorry its >97) that would have been supplied polished. It needs polishing again.

I am lazy, I have an angle grinder, a cordless drill and a dremel.

What have you found to be the best attachment, pads, cloths and product (autosol?) to use and what stages?

Cheers!

Have a child. let child grow to 9-12 years old. offer child slight increase in pocket money (preferably around the time of first girl friend, as money becomes more of an issue) to do the work for you.

whilst there are benefits to this plan, be warned, there are many many many many downsides too.

Oooh love the patina….sooo……Labour saving and trendy, radical approach….what about a beautiful black rear triangle, NOS components throughout and a rat main triangle?

Hmmm I like that. How about beautiful paint on all of it.....would be a tragedy though seeing as the frame is halfway there already.

NOS components?

Felt discs for angle grinder and a stick of polishing compound

Something like these but loads of other options/prices available. I then use felt cone shaped bits on the dremel to get in to the detail areas.

Not much effort required although it’s a bit messy!
