1992 Kona Explosif Pro 18'' - Atherston

Seems to be a new trend … listing at a silly price than big reduction in price to make it appear more attractive. Guess some people are stupid enough to fall for it.
Vendor is listing it as mostly original parts but seems to have “not noticed” it has odd rims, replacement seat and seat post etc

I've got one of these.. xc pro pedals. Joe murray bottle holder with room for bike puncture kit. Mine came with a titanium kona bar also and Joe's clips as well. Just need an xc pro rear wheel and then fully original. Mine cost less than half of this price, but snail trails in paint.. condition not as good.
Will probably list the bottle holder and clips at some point.

That's probably why they're saying it's mostly original then.

Would say it is a fair price for a top of the range Kona, assuming it is all in good order.

I personally wouldn't pay that. Up to £400.
In order to return to original collector spec suntour xc pro difficult to find and expensive in mint condition. Xt parts could be sold to offset the cost.
Retro bike parts and prices have gone up.. due to Covid. People stuck at home. Price of vintage cars and caravans the same. Houses with big gardens.. 🤪 however in another year or so, will all be on fleabay because, like new gym membership..99 percent never use it after the first month..
Especially now furlough is over..
However, if the plague( coronavirus) continues, floods, famine and locusts.. definitely Wrath of God...but all aforementioned items will continue to rise in price.
