Maiden voyage along the Mersey promenade from Otterspool to Albert Dock, Liverpool.
gearing a bit high may have to go for 32 x 16

Bloody hell, that was quick… I didn’t even get time to dunk my digestive let alone finish my tea!

Yeah, usualy takes at least 3 years.. I painted this late last summer and built it up over the last couple of weeks. Super fast fir me 😁
 
Currently 32 x 18

going 32 X 16
32x18 is a lower (easier) gear than 32x16. Did you mean the gearing was too low (spinning out to quickly)? Usually a single speed will be a 2:1 ratio at least, as you can always stand up and grimace your way up a hill, but when you're descending, there's nothing you can do other than freewheel once you spin out.
 
Nice rebuild, very neat. 2:1 is a good starting point on gearing although a lot depends on fitness (and above all local conditions).

yes, its too easy to pedal.
