The first Old World Mountain Bike Championships are to be held in Bergen (NH), 40 minutes north of Amsterdam, Holland, this September. June 21st-22nd saw retrobike make their annual pilgrimage to Eastnor Park to take part in Mountain Mayhem. With over 25 riders and various hangers on it was an excellent turnout. Despite the British weather a great weekend was had by all, due in no small part to the excellent organisation of the event. The full aftermath discussion is going ahead in the forum here. After months of hard fought negotiation top mtb and road racer Geoffrey L Beetham has agreed to ride for retrobike for the 2007 season. Geoffrey's impressive palmares include numerous top 20 Elite NPS finishes along with the Masters NPS title in 2005. This year Geoffrey will be racing Masters Off Road and Elite On Road.
