After starting two replica roberts i finally got hold of the real thing. so the replicas are up for sale. one has already sold so i finally got round to building the last one:
this is bases on the late 1988 (July to Dec)
not the pug ones (up to july 8

Spec as follows:
Roberts 1988 frame. Reynolds tubing fillet brazed. New Paint (polar and provance blue), pug and roberts decals. Clear laquer.
Roberts fork. Fillet brazed
Headset- Deore XT
Stem - Tioga t-bone
Bars - Scott Alloy
Gripts - Rithcey foam (new)
Seat - original 88 look
bb- UN51
Cranks - XT
Rings - Deore DX
Pedals - rubbish
Chain - New Sram
Front mech - XT
Rear Mech - XT
Hubs- Shimano No obviouse markings
Cassette - 6 speed shimano uniglide (deore?)
Spokes - Aplina DB
Rims - Wolber at 20
Brakes- 4 Finger Xt
Cantis - XT
Shifters- XT
tyres- Rear Mythos 1.95 new front wtb
Condition: Frame is structually sound and just needed paint and some frame safe inside. the paint is acrylic and then lacquered. I have made a couple of minor marks in asembiling it so its probably not going to be that hardy logn term. The BB axel could so with being 2mm shorter to shift better. the rear rim has a ding in it but rides okay. and the left shifter mount is not 100% straight. The front tyre is a bit dry and pedals are not great. Wow ar'nt i critical... but honest i hope.
Looking for £500 or best offer.
I can supply some detail of pug roberts bikes from mr burnley (team managers email) and a photo of that biek that i worked from.
Might split the frame if offered.
