well i had it powdercoated but didnt like the colour,so i sprayed over it

came out pretty good for a can,add new decals by the man gil and voila

still need hundreds of parts

Awesome restore! Amazing to me that flare in the chainstay is for heel clearance.. where the the decals come from?

That's looking great....'Dales are so cool.....can't get enough of them fat tubes....

not many options available really to keep it 1988/89 so will be plain old xt thru out,rigid but with a flexstem

i have a 93 frame now that i may do the same with but trick up the same as my old bike was

John-players-special colour scheme, very smart.

don't see many cannondales on here so its a refreshing change from all the common fat chance stuff.

Looks so good in black. And gold is a sweet choice. Nicely done.

What made you change it? I have to say it was a nice blue too.

1988 M500 IIRC. Also came in white with blue decals and yellow cables etc.
