


No apologies for the "didn't want to faff around with obsolete disc tabs" and "lockout yes please" build. It's a rider.
Really it could be an "original build but forks and brakes upgraded in 2001" concept. But more by accident than design, rather like the colour scheme which fell together by itself....
Frame:16" 1997 Pace RC200 F6 Ti-coloured, Decals courtesy Gil(Thanks LaundryMike and Wu-Tangled for looking after it before I got my hands on it...)
Fork: Pace RC38 Airforce 2 (2001) - wanted a lockout fork (Ebay)
Headset: "matt silver" Hope (original type but 2002 I think) (Thanks FredGassit)
Stem: "XTR grey"Pace (Retrobiker I forgot the name of)
Handlebar: X-Lite XLR Straight Ti (Taken off the Dave Yates last year when I put Renthals back on ) Logos faded off but a good,light durable bar.
Grips: Whatever I had lying around. Pro I think.
Barends: Black X-Lite Stubbie Pro (Retrobiker I forgot the name of)
Brakes: Hope DH4 Front, Enduro 4 rear (2001-ish), 183mm front,165mm rear (Thankyou Retrobike for Rear "3" half which made these brakes usable at last - had them in sparesboxfor 4 years)
Shifters: Paul Thumbies(NOT PERIOD)/Dura-Ace Barcons (Spares box) Considering M952 Rapidfires as I'm not convinced these work well enough or look the part.
Front Derailleur: FD-M952 (thanks DaveSSmith)
Rear Derailleur: RD-M952 med cage (MadCowKev)
Derailleur Cables: Shimano (New)
Cassette: M952 12-34(Spares Box)
Chain: HG93 (Spares Box)
Cranks,bolts,rings,chainring boltss: Middleburn RS3/Hardcote Slickshift 24,36,46, (Taken off Dave Yates when MikeC sent me an RS3 to put on it instead)
Bottom Bracket: Royce 113 (thanks Sustasbulbas)
Pedals: Look S3 Black (Spares Box)
Hub Skewers: M750 XT for now. Discs are too powerful to compromise safety here.
Wheels: Mavic X317CD/Silver Hope Ti-glide/Suspension Splined (thanks Gazmond)
Tyres: Green Wildgripper Lites (Spares Box)
Tubes: Whatever- Geax probably (Spares Box)
Saddle: Selle Italia Novus Ferrari (Thanks Sithlord)
Seatpost: Black Thomson (no shims for me thanks) - came with frame. really need a new, longer one though.
