1996 Kona 'star & bars' Hot

The frame arrived yesterday from Paul (Tallpaul) and very nice it is too

I gave it a quick polish and it's come up even more lovely

I obviously wanted to build it up asap, so have used kit I had; a '99 SID and M950 primarily.

No doubt the spec will change But for now.....






I will be changing the fork for sure.

That is a nice frame! And very light.
Would look good with SRAM stars & stripes.

Nice one, first thought was stars and stripes indeed.
But when I put a picture of those 'Betsy's' I dont think they do any justice to this bike. Will be overdressed.

Stunning love the paint job on the frame

Seen these before.
Only worth about £50 as there's an inherent frame structure problem.
I'm feeling generous so I'll give you £75 posted.

I've taken it up/down the road and it feels nice. Unfortunately due to ill-health I can't really ride. I can only manage to do the builds sometimes as well
