Have been to speak to the frame builder today to talk over respraying my Blizzard. Originally it was the 'Ice' Finish, 1994. Kinda difficult to recreate, so I had a Powdercoat done which had a Metallic fleck over flat white, giving it something of a Pearl white finish...
Anyhow got chatting to him & he said obviously "Why White???" which got me thinking...Yeah why?? With the Blizzard decals having the Blue drop shadow, the build to be Black Finishing Kit, Chrome on Gears, Hubs & with a smattering of Blue Anno to set off the decals, should I stick to White??
It's not a catalogue resurrection, but wonder if I should stick to the White(ish) Spec for the Year Model? If not, I'm trying to look at what may work which won't be too lairy & won't see the decals looking out of place...
