I have been pondering a Proflex for years, but never found 'the one'.
That all changed last year when I found this one on ebay, after talking to the vendor it transpired that he is Mr752 on here, the bike was advertised here but I somehow missed it.
Anyway a deal was done, I was very exited, the day it arrived was like Christmas, it was soon together and out for a ride.
It is just as nice to ride as I thought it would be.

So the history behind this Proflex.
Mr 752 Purchased it new in 92 from Back2bikes of Great Ayton for use as his race bike, it was used on NEMBA events and made regular appearances on the Bosley Mud Slide, Hamsterly Hammer and the Boltby Bash.

Shocktech forks, DX transmission, Campy rims on XT hubs, all hardware Ti or ano. I must also say it has been maintained very well.

I've made a couple of changes to it to suit me, then used it on some of trailquest events plus quite a few rides.

So I recently saw this Master advertised here on RB. Always fancied an Offroad Noflex.

For some reason only this picture will upload, but you get the idea.

Both look great! The 752 looks like a whole heap of fun though.
Its interesting to ride, sometimes quite scary in the sketchier parts of the Peak District. I have thought about selling it, but I cant bring myself to let it go, so instead I have some new parts to go on at some point.

8) nice, that 752's paint looks in really good condition. Also remember the Master coming up for sale, if it had been a smaller size it would have been hard to resist :)

I've been having fun with this one recently. I've added more purplez

Finally got the shim so I could add the USE post...

Hi mate, nice pics, what size seat tube in your 752 running please? Thanks

Sorry its probably a bit late now, but the 752 needs a 28.0 seat post.

Another photo, no other reason than I took it today and I love looking at it.
