My 80/90 race bike rebuild

Hi all
Here’s my m600 cannondale that I’ve got down from the loft during lockdown to rebuild back to and above the spec when I used to race it in the late 80s/ early 90s .
Raced at Malvern hills / boltby bash / Clipstone Forrest.
And also did the Polaris challenge events.
Many good memories have been made riding this bike.

Lot of cool parts. The best of the bicycle are the menories. A link to the pass. And new memories can be built with him. 🙂

That’s some spec! Interested to know the serial number as I don’t think the model M600 existed until around 94. Could it have had replacement decals?

Hi
I am going to have a look at the serial number and post it on here , maybe you could check when it was made for me.
after all these years my memory has faded a bit but I remember buying it new from langset cycles in Sheffield as a new m600 beast of the east frame only and it was red/white/blue fade paint . Of course the decals are not original as I’ve fully repainted to the colour of my mates m400 who I raced with at the time because I liked the colour.
cheers Iain
ps How do I enter my bike into any of the bike of the ——— competition.

I think it’s a 92 M600, the serial number will confirm the year.

I don’t think you need a minimum amount of posts to enter BotM. Just follow the guidelines on the first post of the monthly competition (yours isn’t eligible this month)

Hi Pal
Here’s the serial number, thanks for the info on botm I’ll have a look at sorting it.
Cheers Iain

There should be a longer number somewhere on the rear stays

Hello, I would like to buy an oldschool Selle Italia Bio saddle. Can you help me in this? I found you through old posts. I barely find this type, so I decided to dig deeper ;) Thank you in advance
