1986 Fisher Mt. Tam

Hello Everyone,
Find following pictures of my 1986 Fisher Mt. Tam. The seller was the original owner who said he had less than a handful of rides on it, and it shows. A few nicks here and there, very slight chains rub, but mostly great to excellent condition. I’m cleaning off a layer of storage dust and grime and will share a spec list and more pictures as I work through it if anyone is interested in seeing more.

fillet brazed joints. that bottom bracket junction

Out of interest , what size is the frame ?

The frame is a 19”. The full bike pictures were shot when I picked it up. I hope to have time this weekend to put in effort and will make a spec list and gather some more shots. Here are a couple shots of the roller cam brake. A friend told me that the brake cover was made in Chico and sure enough, Overland Equipment is still in business with lines of canvas bags and packs. There address is just down the street from Paul Components.

Oh great ! It's my size too :mrgreen:

Interesting geometry ideas back then . Look at the size of the headtube compared to my 19" Fisher , '97 .



Would love to know how they rode BITD , when compared to the '90s bikes I have
