'93 Kona Kilauea, 20" Frame and fork only , £120

suburbanreuben

Old School Grand Master
I picked this up at the weekend intending to use it as a pub bike. Then I went to the pub and they wanted FOUR QUID for a pint of Ale, so I won't be going there again in a hurry...
So It is available as a complete bike for the bargain price of £150 +post (£20 if I can pack it right).
Some components are decent; most are rubbish.
It is a lovely frame, very solid ,straight and free from dents, scratches and major rust. One of the rear rack mounts has gone Awol, but that is the only blemish. Kona seat clamp is included but dog collar is missing. The forks are triple butted. Headset is original!
Wheels are brand new WTB dual duty on cheap shimano parallax hubs.
Brakes are Avid SD3 with 2.0 levers. They're not bad!I took it for a muddy ride and they stopped the bike pretty well despite the annoying rubbing.
Cranks are Alivio with a Salsa 32T SS ring, driving an 18T cog spaced courtesy of Velosolo spacers.
The saddle is a cheap WTB on a cheap black post- not the ones pictured.
The stem is Syncros and the bars are On One Marys- again not the ones shown.
Any questions, fire away.

Re:

Actual tt is 22.5"
effective tt is 23.25"
seat post is 27.0mm
As shown above the saddle nose-bar clamp distance is 60.5mm which is a tad longer than the 60.0mm on my bigger Soulcraft.
