I had hoped to have posted a thread with some additional builds history etc, but given the work load, other projects, time etc....

Given all the current comprehensive info now on the site, I though it might be nice to fill the void on the early years and the range of bikes.

Here is the complete range of Muddy fox models from my dealer pack, with full specifications, trade price lists and extracts from the dealer pack displaying editorial reviews, advertising, and promotional elements.

Just come home from a quick hours ride with my youngest boy which I was riding the Prestige Comp. I only became aware of the brand in late '87 so this fills in a lot of the blanks. Still plan to add an '88 Explorer or Limited Ed and a high end '89 bike (what I feel was the best year for MF) to my fleet at some point.

The Muddy fox....Holy Grail for me has to be the limited edition handbuilt bike that Jacquie Phelan was pictured with in the last post. A legendary bike and a legendary rider, and such an icon image too, on the river bank in wales after competing in the Man V Horse V bike.

It is the Image best remembered from all of it for me.

Saw it a week or two after I had seen my friend on a 1988 Roadrunner (late in '87) and the Muddy Fox fixation was born.
