I’m not convinced, the end cap on the top tube looks curved and is that remnants of an Avalanche decal on the top tube?
Hopefully the GT experts can confirm.

Yeh from 98 they started to use 6061 on avalanche. They were getting ready to move production away from USA for the high end stuff so started to experiment.

Interestingly a I had a painted 6061 Avalanche which was lighter by a few grams than a Painted same year Zaskar.

C'mon you supposed experts, that's a bargain for what is clearly stated to be the ultra-rare ultra-uncool Zasker Nerd's Talc edition. Ideal for those bespectacled overweight fellas with a sweaty chafage problem down there... Will do everything you Zask of it and less.

FWIW, aside from the specs it describes me pretty well also. Prefer the Sudocrem approach over talc though lol
