I've been offered a fluro accutrax / a-tac for it, but I'm not sure. Lots to think about over the next few days, before I pull the trigger on an initial build.

and the 12 is a sticker, I suspect it was part of an auction at some point or something. It'll come off when I get home.

Ah ok, though it may have been a numbered race bike or the like.

Envious of the frame and im sure it will look great whatever direction you end up going

Take them - even if you end up painting them a different colour! So infrequently available.

I think, that is my plan, I've just got to work out if the steerer on the forks is long enough.

He's got my Manitou FS frame at the moment, so I don't want to bother him with another project just yet.

Some progress on the Ultimate build!

Manitou 1s are inbound. The 4s are just thrown in to make it sort of bike shaped.

also inbound from around the world are the purple grafton brakes, ringle qrs, turbo saddle and XT seatpost. I'm trying to work out if I like the disc on it, or should run the purple bullseye wheels as a pair.

Hopefully I can get it finished this month.

Finally got the Ultimate to how I wanted it to look.

I think it looks a lot better with purple hubs and tan walls.

Within about 20 minutes of finishing it and posting the pictures on my social media, I'd sold it! Funds needed for other projects.

So this is now off to Switzerland later this week. Its been a super fun project and I'll be sad to see it go.
