WTF? Cracking Ti frame.

I don’t see why that couldn’t be quite easily welded/maybe reinforced a bit for £50 or so. You’d have an OK frame for £150ish… a bit ugly but perfectly functional
 
Don't forget reaming the headtube after welding, If you don't own the right reamer, that's another £20.

Or you could have bought the same frameset with a carbon fork, mint condition with 3 paint chips in 725 steel for just under £100 about a month ago... Received 1 bid.

simpsonframeworks.co.uk based in Cumbria are highly regarded in all manner of frame repairs including titanium, might be worth a look 👍
 
Its actually the smallest they make....its a touring bike, not mtb.

The rest of the bigger sizes have 700c wheels, so i doubt you would get much in the way of tyres in.
