I'm after a steel frame and forks for my Xtracycle project. Size wise can consider 18"-20". I'd like 1 1/8" aheadset type front end, preferably with 'normal' vertical dropouts. Can consider track ends provided dropout is 7mm thick or less. ie Surly 1x1 would be nice but the hooded type dropout makes it a pain for conversion.

A 19" Orange Clockwork or P7 (not the more recent versions for longer forks though) would be dandy, but I don't suppose there's so many of them coming up.

Doesn't necessarily need to be retro a geared 18" Inbred frame would do nicely.

Oh, I'm Perthshire way so likely to need posting.

Thanks

Answered on Bikeradar as well ;) I'm guessing 17" is too small :?:

Anniversary Clockwork 1999 I think :?: £50 posted for bare frame, no dents and paintwork is better than it looks in the pic ;)

I've got a 19-20"-ish 1997 Marin Bear Valley SE frame (no fork) in very good condition except for a mangled derailleur hanger. It's in France, so postage may be steep, but drop me a line if interested, and I'll sort you out some pictures and better measurements.

Jez, I'd hope for a fork and headset at £75 so maybe I'm being a bit unrealistic, well for a Cindercone anyway.

One-eyed Jim, thanks for the offer, but postage from France probably makes it uneconomical.
