Hard to see from pics but providing the trigger under the brake lever has no hole in it, then it's first gen of the "new" type ergo levers which makes it 97/98.

Thanks for that, the trigger does have a hole so that makes it post 2000?

Not necessarily. They only made them without the hole in 97/8. Could be 99 model.

looks identical to circa 2003/4 chorus 10 speeds that Ive got, so I'd hazard a guess its a later generation one.

Remember tho' that campag make kits so you can convert any lever to any speed. I'm led to believe mercian do them. Quite a few on the CTC forum have tackled it successfully.
