Cheers man :), i'm also an SRV fan so that explains liking bashed up strats, post pics of the Resonator if you get it ;)

Thank's for that link quickdraw, some of those bits look great, read somewhere about steeping plastic parts in tea to age them, tried this but it didn't work too well, ended up dry brushing mine with brown and black model paints then letting that naturally wear off, they look not bad but the plastic parts on that site are far better , will get those when i have the funds.

This has morphed into a pretty decent guitar thread

Ooo.. I can't resist a thread on strats..

Here's mine.. 1998 US Deluxe in rather tasteful transparent green!

Oh just realised.. just missed the cut off for retro.. damn.

Ahhh now this is cool.

My other guitar is a lovely martin DM.

Typical martin action (not the easiest) but the sound is amazing... Truly amazing...

Need to get some pics...

Nah.. mines a Laney.. And a pretty fooked one at that. When I get back into playing again I'll hunt myself down a Sessionette.. The perfect match for a Strat..!

I only got a wee marshall - good fun with its DFX modes tho...

My mate has a valve head and big staduim sized cabinet. Now thats noisy...
