Wheel disc covers

You remember them don't you? Made by Cosmic, Local Motion, that sort of thing. Muddy Fox had a paw print one for a while.

So, why are there no pictures of them about?

Pretty sure that THE made them also.

Edit:

Read the thread the wrong way, as in 'disc brake'. Apologies, was up at 3.45am this morning

Yes!!

Recall seeing them with a muddy fox paw print on an olod skool courier or similar.

they tended to make a bloody racket eventually if i remember correctly,
they did look kinda cool but always ended up back in the shed with a massive crack in em!

My mate had one back in 91/92 on a 7up badged bike he won from a can of...well....7up

There was also a stretchy clip on thing you could buy for about £20/30. I nearly brought one because I dearly wanted a Disc Drive but couldnt afford one!

I remember them, a friend on a British Eagle BOSS had one, may have had it on his ProFlex as well.

Makes a racket out on the trails.

Became fashionable at the time as a poor mans disc drive and you would swear they made the bike faster (never had one myself)

Just a plain coloured disc.

You can still buy covers if anyone wanted to fashion their own.
